Lucinda Bliss has been producing results for building owners and occupants since the 1980’s. Her focus at ORION Investment Real Estate will be in the Office Division representing buyers, sellers, owners, and tenants. She is quick to recognize a property’s potential and to optimize its operating income. Lucinda is a licensed broker in both Arizona and California.

In 2010, she co-founded (and now owns) a commercial real estate brokerage based in Monterey, California, servicing Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito Counties. She established a presence in a market characterized by limited water resources and coastal regulatory restrictions. She stabilized office, industrial, and retail properties for local and out-of-state owners, found a tenant for an iconic, but long vacant, Cannery Row building and, in an owner-dominated market, provided better solutions for a broad array of office, industrial, medical, and retail tenants.

Lucinda’s Arizona reputation led to regional collaboration with global brokerage firms seeking representation for their national and international clients in Monterey and Salinas, CA. Her community involvement included the Monterey Chamber of Commerce and the Monterey Commercial Property Owners Association (MCPOA). She continues to service property owners, investors and tenants on the Monterey Peninsula, and is positioned to meet the commercial and residential real estate needs of ORION’s clients along the Central California Coast.

Her commercial real estate background in Arizona includes a family-owned land sales company, the properties division of the largest bank in the state, in-house office leasing for one of the largest commercial developers/builders in Arizona, an award-winning independent contractor for local, regional and national brokerage/management firms representing owners and tenants of office, retail, medical, and industrial properties, and co-founding a successful female-owned local brokerage firm. She has served on the boards of both local and national non-profit organizations, and was a charter member of Arizona Commercial Real Estate Women (AZCREW).

She takes pride in her strong work ethic, tenacity, attention to detail, and personal integrity. Drawing upon her design and construction background, her tenant representation reputation is based on working with clients long after the lease signature through space planning, tenant improvements and move-in. A creative deal-maker and skilled negotiator, she provides single-source solutions for client’s needs throughout the entire process.

Lucinda is an avid animal-lover, enjoys cooking (fancies herself a foodie), enjoys spending time with friends and family, being creative, and traveling.  She is married to Ted Engdall, who has been a successful corporate manager, as well as a risk-taking entrepreneur. He is a licensed California realtor and business broker. Their son, Matthew, is a talented graphic designer and photographer with a passion for font design and typography.
