Komatsu unveils details of massive Mesa expansion for sales, service center Article originally posted on Phoenix Business Journal on July 1, 2024 Komatsu, a Japanese manufacturer of construction, mining, forestry and heavy industrial equipment, confirmed that it expects to roughly triple its real estate footprint in Mesa. The company said June 28 that it will undergo a multimillion-dollar “strategic investment” into southeast Mesa, where it will build a 225,000-square-foot sales and service facility. The Business Journal had reported in May that project plans were submitted to the city of Mesa to build the facility at the 230-acre Mesa Ellsworth business park, on 25 acres near the southwest corner of Pecos and Crismon roads. Mesa Ellsworth is being developed by San Diego-based Sunbelt Investment Holdings Inc.
