One of Nation’s Largest Homebuilders Closes on $42.5M Parcel in Queen Creek

Lennar Corp. paid $42.5 million for land in Queen Creek, with plans to build 281 homes.

The Miami-based homebuilder bought the entire third and final phase at Madera, a 310-acre master-planned community being developed by Scottsdale-based Communities Southwest Inc.

In March 2020, Communities Southwest sold the entire first phase of Madera to Tri Pointe Homes for $11.46 million for 80.3 acres, according to Tempe-based Vizzda LLC real estate database.
