Already Booming, Pinal County Cities are Primed for More Industrial, Retail and Housing Development

After eight years of pushing through the entitlement process in Pinal County, a motorsports park finally opened its doors to car manufacturers and race enthusiasts in December 2021 with a 2.3-mile asphalt course south of Phoenix in Casa Grande.

The owners, Dan and Lisa Erickson, wanted to build a racing hub across their 2,300-acre Attesa master-planned project almost a decade ago. But since they first pursued the idea a lot has changed in Pinal County, which consists of 13 cities or towns across approximately 5,300 square miles between Phoenix and Tucson.
