Two economic impact studies that examine the proposed entertainment district development in Tempe by the owner of the Arizona Coyotes were released Monday with very different results.

With less than a month until the referendum election where Tempe voters will be able to decide the fate of a $2.3 billion arena and entertainment district being proposed on 46 acres in Tempe near the Rio Salado, both sides are ratcheting up their PR games trying to persuade voters that the development would be good or bad for the economy of Tempe.
