2024 Projects To Watch

In a whirlwind 2023, Phoenix Business Journal staffers covered dozens of impactful deals across the Valley.

Those deals were scrutinized by real estate and economic development reporters Ron Davis and Audrey Jensen, along with managing editor Paul Thompson. Trying to chisel down dozens of projects to a neat “24 projects to watch in 2024” proved a lot harder than we expected, leading to lengthy discussions.

There were far more projects that deserved a spot on this list — a problem that required creative solutions such as bundling deals into “clusters to watch” defined by project location, type of development or the former use of the site. In the end, we highlighted 43 projects.
