99 Ranch to anchor metro Phoenix city’s 1st Asian shopping plaza Article originally posted on AZ Central on March 4, 2026 Construction has begun on what will become the northwest Valley’s first major Asian shopping center, complete with a 99 Ranch Market, a Taiwanese dumpling restaurant and a Vietnamese cafe. Called The Mosaic, the center will occupy a former Sears building at Arrowhead Towne Center in Glendale. 99 Ranch Market will be located on the first floor, according to planning documents. A rendering of the upper level shows clusters of restaurants, boba shops and businesses separated by corridors with names like “Miso Hungry Road” and “Sake To Me Street.” North and West Valley residents have been looking forward to the arrival of the 99 Ranch Market for years. New Taiwanese arrivals told The Arizona Republic in 2024 that they’d drive almost an hour south to Chandler to get groceries from the market, which specializes in Taiwanese and Chinese ingredients. A timeline for opening has not yet been announced. NewQuest, which owns the building, did not respond to The Republic’s request for comment. 99 Ranch Market and more coming to Arrowhead Towne Center These are the restaurants, cafes and stores coming soon to Arrowhead Towne Center, according to construction signs: 99 Ranch Market: Originally a Taiwanese American supermarket, the national chain has expanded to include pan-Asian ingredients and food.
