Arizona Republic to leave longtime downtown Phoenix home for smaller midtown office space Article originally posted on Phoenix Business Journal on September 22, 2025 The Arizona Republic is moving into a new office space and out of a downtown Phoenix building it has occupied for roughly 30 years. The newspaper and its digital arm, AZ Central, are moving into the newly redeveloped Park Central midtown complex and will occupy a 17,000-square-foot space. The Republic is currently leasing approximately 100,000 square feet across four floors at 200 E. Van Buren Street, according to Eric Stenson, CEO of Stenson Tamaddon, which owns that building. In 2023, Phoenix-based financial advisory and accounting firm Stenson Tamaddon bought the 10-story building from ViaWest group for $14.5 million. ViaWest had bought the building and adjacent parking garage in 2018 from the Republic’s corporate owner Gannett for $37.65 million. The Republic’s current downtown lease ends on December 31, Stenson said. Find Complete Article Here: https://www.bizjournals.com/phoenix/news/2025/09/18/arizona-republic-office-moving-midtown.html
