Drake’s Hollywood to bring Swing Era glamour to Scottsdale with huge restaurant

Vandelay Hospitality, a Dallas-based restaurant and bar company, is preparing to debut its Drake’s Hollywood eatery in Old Town Scottsdale.

The Scottsdale location will be the fourth Drake’s Hollywood, following Dallas, West Hollywood, California and Houston. The concept plays off the glamour of 1930s–1940s New York and Los Angeles and has become a hangout for celebrities.

The Old Town Scottsdale location will be opening in an 8,000-square-foot restaurant on the corner of Scottsdale Road and 1st Street. It is expected to open in early 2026.

“We look for markets that celebrate dining and design, and Scottsdale is exactly that,” said Hunter Pond, the Vandelay Hospitality CEO. “It has a reputation as a destination city with both locals and visitors who embrace dining as an experience.”
