EdgeCore purchased the 43.87 acres, paving the way for its 2.1 million-square-foot campus expansion at the southwest corner of Elliot Road and Everton Terrace that will more than double its megawatt capacity. The Denver-based data center developer acquired the parcel for $43.95 million on May 7 from an entity tracing back to Brookfield Properties, according to Tempe-based real estate database Vizzda LLC. The company’s expansion plans call for a trio of three-story buildings and a 350,000-square-foot Salt River Project substation with additional 250-megawatt capacity, according to previous Business Journal reporting.
