Kaos Hospitality to open two new restaurants at Tempe’s Watermark development Article originally posted on Phoenix Business Journal on October 22, 2025 Kaos Hospitality is expanding its presence in the Watermark mixed-use development in Tempe with plans to open two new restaurant concepts complex. The company has operated its Asian-inspired steakhouse Three Thirty Three at the Watermark, along Scottsdale Road north of Tempe Town Lake, since late 2024. Now it has leased two other restaurant spaces and is looking to expand its offerings in Tempe. The first of the new concepts to open will be 212° Shabu Shabu, which is slated to open in December. The restaurant is an experiential concept where guests’ food will be cooked in broth and water at their table. The concept name refers to the boiling point of water and the Japanese term “shabu shabu” translates to “swish, swish,” which the restaurant said is the sound that thin slices of meat and protein make when swished back and forth in boiling broth while cooking.
