Long-running Phoenix breakfast spot fà-me café relocating to Biltmore neighborhood Article originally posted on Phoenix Business Journal on June 5, 2026 Fà-me café, a long-running local breakfast and lunch spot, will be moving later this year to Phoenix’s Biltmore neighborhood. The restaurant, which first opened more than a decade ago in central Phoenix, will be moving from its well-known location at 4700 N. Central Ave. to 2375 E. Camelback Road in Phoenix. The relocation is expected to take place in the fourth quarter of 2026. Fà-me café will be opening in a 3,600-square-foot space on the ground floor of the office building on the southwest corner of 24th at Camelback. The space has sat empty since Scramble closed its location there in September 2025. The building is owned by Columbus Properties. Maria and Ivan O’Farrill founded and own fà-me café. The name comes from the word “fame” that means famished/hungry in Italy and in northern Spain. Ivan O’Farrill is a classically trained chef from Mexico, and Maria is from Spain and was raised in the hospitality industry. “It just feels natural to move into the Biltmore location,” Ivan O’Farrill told the Business Journal. “We’ve called this area home for more than a decade and being able to continue our story here means a lot to us and our team.” The menu at fà-me café includes all-day breakfast, salads and sandwiches. It also has a robust coffee and tea program, as well as cocktails, beer and wine. The owners said they procure their dairy, eggs, vegetables, fruits, meats, grains and artisanal breads from local farmers and artisans that they “trust and respect.” Brokers Brad Anderson and Mike Strittmatter of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, Columbus Properties, in the lease negotiation and Cole Schillne and Carol Schillne with Orion Investment Real Estate represented the tenant.
