New-to-market Restaurants Could Land at Planned Retail Strip in West Valley

A chicken concept, an Italian ice shop and a peach cobbler restaurant could be some of the newest tenants moving into a new retail center in Glendale.

Scottsdale-based Diversified Partners is planning to develop a 35,000-square-foot retail and services strip with more than a dozen buildings at the southeast corner of 91st Avenue and Cardinals Way, just southeast of State Farm Stadium.

“The project is moving along great, and we are receiving a ton of user interest in the food categories, and service categories. We think this project will bring a great lineup of tenants that will complement everything going on south of the stadium,” said Austin Payne, a retail leasing and sales associate for Diversified Partners in an email to the Business Journal.
