The company designed the Goodyear campus to use virtually no water for cooling, instead employing a closed-loop chilled water system with air-side economizers that allows for reduced energy use based on outside ambient temperature. Village at Prasada Developer: SimonCRE General contractor: Haydon Building Corp., DG Fenn Construction Architect: RKAA Architects Sector: Mixed-use, retail Value: $140 million Size: 700,000 SF Start date: December 2021 Completion date: Initial completion is January 2023; final completion is April 2024 Of note: The first retail power center of this scale to be built in the West in more than a decade, Village at Prasada will bring a range of retail and dining options to the currently underserved community of the West Valley. When completed, the project will be a dynamic center that meets not only the wants, but also the needs of residents as well as retailers.
