Sexy Roman, new restaurant in W Scottsdale hotel, sets opening date

Sexy Roman, the new restaurant overseen by a Los Angeles company that will be in charge of all food and beverage offerings at Old Town Scottsdale’s W Scottsdale hotel, is set to open June 2.

Alliance Hospitality Group, the company behind the eatery concept, said in a May 30 announcement that the new restaurant – as is somewhat apparent in its name – is a “mischievous Italian restaurant.” While the main focus will be dinner, Sexy Roman will also be open for breakfast and lunch as the main food and beverage outlet for the hotel.

“Our intention is to dress the entire place up. Get dressed up and come to Sexy Roman for the beginning or the end of a big night out,” Travis Strickland, COO of Alliance Hospitality Group, told the Business Journal. “This is not just a see and be seen place, but we actually have something where the product is outstanding, and the hospitality is outstanding. There’s no reason that this part of Scottsdale can’t have that.”
