Major retailer Target plans to open new stores in 22 states, including three in Arizona. “From the Big Apple to the California coast and in between, our stores are at the center of how we serve our guests,” according to Target’s website. “And that’s why we’re continuing to invest in new stores in neighborhoods across the country.” The Minneapolis-based retailer says it looks at a number of factors, such as how it can best meet a community’s needs, site constraints and other area Target stores, and works closely with local officials to “develop stores that truly make shopping easy, inspiring and affordable.” Here’s what to know about the new Target locations coming to Arizona. New Target stores coming to Arizona Here’s where the new Target stores in Arizona are set to open: Buckeye: Northeast corner of Interstate Highway 10 and Verrado Way Mesa: Northeast corner of Highway 60 and Signal Butte Road Queen Creek: 37854 N. Gantzel Road Both the Buckeye and Mesa locations will be about 148,000 square feet, while the Queen Creek location will be slightly smaller at 145,000 square feet. The Target website did not indicate when the new stores would open.
