Taylor Morrison buys 131 acres in fast-growing area of Queen Creek

Scottsdale-based Taylor Morrison Home Corp just closed on a vacant East Valley land parcel in Queen Creek with plans to build 218 homes, which comes on the heels of the purchase of 156 acres in north Phoenix.

Development is underway with sales projected to begin in the third quarter of 2026, said Steve Hahn, senior vice president of land for the Phoenix division of Taylor Morrison (NYSE: TMHC).

Its capital partner Kennedy Lewis Investment Management paid $21 million to an entity tracing to Crown West Realty/Petrus Partners for the 131-acre parcel south of the southwest corner of Thompson Road and Hunt Highway in Queen Creek, according to Tempe-based Vizzda LLC.
