Top retail leases recognized for Phoenix

Prominent retail leases signed by IKEA, Amped Fitness and STG Automotive Group negotiated by top dealmakers from Kidder Mathews, Lynn Morrison Co. and JLL are among the second-quarter retail leases recognized by CoStar.

As big-ticket items involving sizable investments, commercial property transactions often have a wider impact within the community. CoStar is pleased to recognize the following top leases completed during the second quarter and the dealmakers who made them happen in their respective markets.

Here are the Phoenix retail leases selected as the second-quarter 2025 winners of the CoStar Power Broker Quarterly Deal Awards:

Brokers Involved: Cliff Johnston of Kidder Mathews and Lynn Morrison of Lynn Morrison Co. represented the landlord. Regan Amato and Ryan Tanner of JLL represented the tenant.

Deal Commentary: Furniture, appliance and home accessory retailer IKEA signed a five-year lease at the Village Square II.

Tenant: Amped Fitness

Brokers Involved: Felipe Desouza and Sam Losek of Global Fund Real Estate Group represented the landlord.

Deal Commentary: Health club provider Amped Fitness signed a 10-year lease at the Glendale Galleria shopping center.

Deal Type: Sublease

Size: 35,468 SF

Subtenant: STG Automotive Group

Brokers Involved: Michael Ciosek and Eric Bell of Kidder Mathews represented the sublessor.

Deal Commentary: STG Automotive Group, a used-car dealership, signed a sublease to occupy this entire auto dealership building.

Brokers Involved: Russ Rodgers of COBE Real Estate represented the landlord.

Deal Commentary: The Shop Gym signed a 10-year lease to open a location at the Santa Fe Square Shopping Center, which is owned by The Choice Group.

Deal Commentary: Redeemed Christian Church of God is a Pentecostal megachurch and denomination with headquarters in Nigeria.
