Logistics giant leases more than 4 million square feet of West Valley industrial space Article originally posted on Phoenix Business Journal on August 17, 2026 Third-party logistics provider DHL Group has signed on to lease more than four million square feet of industrial space in the West Valley so far this year. Most recently, it signed a lease for a 1.14 million square foot building at VT 303 North – a VanTrust Real Estate project in Glendale with an expected fourth quarter delivery, according to industry sources familiar with the deal. DHL kicked the year off with two major West Valley leases, according to industry reports: first, two buildings at Olive Logistics Center totaling one million square feet, then a 629,835 square-foot building at Park 303. Then in the second quarter, it signed on for 1.18 million square feet at Northern Parkway Logistics Center, along with a 403,000 square-foot building at Latitude 303. Brokers involved in the latest deal declined to comment. Cooper Fratt and John Werstler of CBRE represented VanTrust while JLL’s Charlotte Elstob, Dan McGillicuddy, Kelly Royle, Marc Hertzberg, and Tony Lydon represented the tenant, according to a release. DHL doesn’t comment on specific real estate transactions, individual facility agreements, or customer operations, a spokesperson said in an email, though it “provides contract logistics and warehousing services for customers across a wide range of industries, including in the Greater Phoenix area.” Earlier this year, the Wall Street Journal reported DHL planned to open 10 new warehouses totaling over 7 million square feet across North America to provide logistics services to firms building out data centers.
