Tesla EV Sales, Service Center Proposed in Valley Office Building

Tesla (Nasdaq: TSLA) appears to be planning a new sales and repair center at the former Asurion office building in Phoenix.

An application was submitted to the city of Phoenix earlier this year to rezone about 8 acres at the southwest corner of Quail and 19th avenues to allow for an electric vehicle repair and sales operation.

The center is being proposed for the existing one-story building that sits on the property near the Phoenix Deer Valley Airport, at 21030 N. 19th Ave. The applicant is listed as Aztec 19th Ave. LLC, which is the current property owner.

Early site plans for the auto center show a proposed 64,000-square-foot building surrounded by surface parking.
